CHANDIGARH TO MANALI

Pick up from Delhi/ Chandigarh airport, break for tea, snacks/ lunch at Ambala and we start for Manali.

MANALI

Post breakfast a small local tour will be arranged and back to hotel by lunch hour. Have a relaxed afternoon and in the evening we will have a small briefing about expedition and some important tips, conducted by team leader and Zahir team.

MANALI TO SARCHU

We will be starting bit early in the morning. Breakfast and lunch stops will be en-route. We will be crossing our first high pass Baralacha-la and beautiful suraj taal at the top.

SARCHU TO LEH

We will start early for leh from Sarchu. We have to cover 259 km approx. Today we will be driving through the Gata Loops to Lachulung-La (16,600ft), More plains, Tanglang-La (17,480ft) to finally reach Leh.

LEH

Relaxed day to get acclimatize, local tour to shanty Stupa/ Leh palace and back to hotel/ we can choose to take small tour to Shyam valley and back to hotel.

LEH TO NUBRA

After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, enjoy the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardung La Pass (18,390 feet). After spending some time at Khardung La, proceed to Nubra. After Hotel check-in, enjoy Bactrian camel Safari in the evening.

NUBRA TO SIACHIN AND BACK NUBRA

After breakfast, drive to Panamic hot springs. visit to hot spring at Panamic, drive to the Siachen Base Camp: the Highest Battlefield in the world. Meet Army people and get to know about the daily life at Siachen. Drive back to Nubra after some quality time at Siachen.

NUBRA TO PANGONG TSO

We will start post breakfast following the same route towards Leh till we reach Khalsar. From the Agyam bridge, we will take the route which leads us to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. After Durbuk, towards Tangtse and we will follow the traditional route. Drive to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third parts lies in India. Explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife. Stay Overnight in Pangong.

PANGONG TSO TO LEH

Early morning enjoy the picturesque view of Sun rise on the lake. After breakfast drive back to Leh, take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea and reach leh by early evening.

LEH TO TSOMORIRI VIA CHUMANTANG

Post breakfast we will start for Tsomoriri via Chumanthang (4,050m) as we drive deeper into the Changthang region, we will discover the vast open landscapes that are typical of this high-altitude Himalayan plateau. We will cross Namshang La pass (4,960m). Right after the pass, we will come across a small and beautiful lake with an impressive blue turquoise colour known as Kyagar Tso. A small hault for refreshment and we will continue to reach after 20km Tsomoriri.

TSOMORIRI, KORZOK VILLAGE

Morning tea/coffee relaxed day, post breakfast we will visit Korzok Village, visit the scared monastery of Korzok village.

TSOMORIRI TO JISPA

We will start early post breakfast for Jispa via Tso Kar Lake, small hault for refreshment and enjoy the beauty of the Lake and some bird watching. Lunch break at Sarchu.

JISPA TO MANALI

We will leave for Manali today post breakfast and by lunch hour we will reach manali/ we may choose to stop at Solang Valley to have Lunch break. Evening we will have a small get together with team at evening bonfire and dinner.
